RSS which is Really Simple Syndication is a way to have information come to you automatically and easilly.
RSS is commonly used to subscribe to news sites, podcasts, video casts, and on search engines, and portals such as Yahoo which collect information from multiple sources in a single place. Following is an explanation showing you how to use the power of this with the popular and secure Firefox webbrowser. Firefox calls RSS Live Bookmarks and describes them as
"Whether it’s news from CNN and the BBC, or posts on your friend’s blog, the Web is updated continually. Firefox’s Live Bookmarks feature
automatically keeps track of these updates for you, so you always know when new content has been added to your favorite sites.

With Live Bookmarks, the content comes to you. Instead of constantly checking Web pages for changes and additions, a Live Bookmark
delivers updates to you as soon as they are available.

Lets get going by following these easy steps:
  1. firefox.rss.1
Your first step is to get the firefox browser which is located here.
  2. firefox.rss.2
Now open up firefox and go to  http://www.fixmycomputerlive.com.  To the right of the address you will see a .  Click on it.
  3. firefox.rss.3
You will see the following.  Make sure that you check off "Always use live bookmarks."  Finally click on "Subscribe Now."
  4. firefox.rss.4f
You will see this window.  Click on "New Folder."
  5. firefox.rss.5
Entitle the folder "RSS" or something similar.  It is really up to you.  Finally Click on OK.
  6. firefox.rss.6
Congratulations!!  You have now subscribed to the RSS Feeds.  Click on the RSS Folder that you just created in your bookmarks bar.  You will see InterNetWorkingSolutions Support Site and all of the recent articles there.
  7. firefox.rss.7
Now we are going to add another RSS Feed.  Go to the NY Times.  As in the step 2 click on the orange icon to the right of the address.
  8. firefox.rss.8
You are asked where you want to save the feed.  Select the RSS Feeds Folder that you created above.
  9. firefox.rss.9
Now when you click on RSS Feeds you see both the recent articles from the NY Times and InterNetWorkingSolutions.
